Hoosier Girl . . . goes treasure hunting!

As soon as things just settle down from the holidays its time to hit the gift shows and order for the upcoming spring and summer seasons. It’s treasure hunting to the max!

Arriving in the Dallas Market Center on Thursday of last week, we immediately hit the floral vendors for spring inspiration. Wait til you see what’s on it’s way! Jane will be a busy bee whipping up floral creations to add fresh color to your winter dreary rooms. Forsythia, tulips, hyacinths, dogwood and more are a VERY welcome sight as winter seems to drag on a bit too long.

We also found some great inspirational pieces for farmhouse style that is so popular now. Warm woods, rustic metals, and mellow colored pillows are sure to add a cozy relaxed atmosphere to any home that needs an aged patina to make it lived in and time worn.

Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines continues to add to it’s offerings and we are pleased to provide you with her new home fragrance collection. We selected three of her fragrances – Gather, Bloom, and Love. Two sizes of candles and a reed diffuser will add simple elegance to any bathroom, kitchen, or bedroom. They should arrive soon!

We are expanding our Mudpie Circa collection as well as Beatriz Ball and Maple Leaf at Home cutting boards. These lines are perfect gifts for mom, retirement, brides, new home and birthdays. They are top of the line and very special. To top off our kitchen selection, we will be soon receiving a large variety of tea towels with cute sayings and sweet farm scenes to brighten up your kitchen and add a chuckle to your day.

Men are always so hard to buy for and with Father’s Day rolling towards us we wanted to have a few items that any man would appreciate. Along with our Jack Black personal products, we will now have some great gadgets from Gentleman’s Hardware that they are sure to appreciate. If he has pancakes on his mind, be sure to pick up some of our new bourbon barrel or chai flavored maple syrup in super cute vintage style bottles. So, I think we have everyone covered as our exciting purchases roll into Sweet Bee.

See ya soon – as you’ll surely want first in line.
